Studio daze

Happy week of my birthday! I have been working late nights and early mornings in the studio this week getting prepped for my big gallery opening the first weekend in June! Wow I'm excited. and I mean EXCITED! As you can see from the photos, I've draw my inspiration for both my pieces and jewelry collection from textiles, seashells, photos, and vintage nautical items I've collected from all over the world. I love old port towns, fishing villages, and coastal hideaways. I love the colors, the feel, the energy, the food, and the culture. Lately, I'm fealing extremely lucky to be able to live on the water and do what I love full time.

Looking back on my short life and my love affair with art and travel both as a hobby and now as a profession, I have displayed my work all over, but this. this is different. Curating and displaying my own collection, it feels pretty good. I feel like I've had so much to say for so long, it's an amazing feeling to finally be able to sit down, reflect, and express it.

Like what you see? You can shop my nautical collection here and my current original art and jewelry here! A huge thank you to all my readers and admirers- both those who've been with me on this journey and those who've just joined! I can't wait to see what this season of my life as an artist holds for me!
