Treasure Island, California road-trip diaries

35mm | Fuji 400 | Honeywell Pentax

I took these photos on a trip this past year to California. These were prior to my film workshop this past summer, and despite not knowing what I was doing with my old camera, I'm completely happy with how they turned out.  #filmalwayswins

Today I have myself holed up in a coffee shop, cappuccino in hand, with tights and leg warmers, and the comfiest sweater dress by a local talented designer that I confess I've been living in for the last three days. I'm watching the rain come down and can't help but feel like I have the best spot in town to watch the day unfold and type my life update out here for you.

My photography season has all but slowed down and I've been spending most of my days sketching and painting and dreaming.   Time for my art season to pick up! This past week, I was honored to have a shout-out in a local paper for my Fresh Air art exhibit I have up in downtown Sturgeon Bay and sold a piece at the Winter open house at Greco Gallery this weekend! I started working on my new art line that I can't seem to paint fast enough! It's called Into the Deep. I've been sharing sneak peeks on my instagram if you are interested in checking it out.

I adore Monsterous-sized paintings. I mean love them. I'm currently working on a piece that is as big as a door. Its' awesome. I can't wait to get it up in the gallery and in my online shop

I'm super pumped to head to Florida this year for Christmas. I'm looking forward to spending Christmas how I feel it should be spent. In the warm. in the sunshine.

I can't believe this year is almost over! It's been a great year! I'm looking forward to reflecting on the last 12 months of my life next month here on the blog. Stay tuned for lots of walks down memory lane!
