Happiness is a 1960 Airstream

So... this happened last weekend. We bought an Airstream. It's a 1960 Tradewind and it's absolutely beautiful. I'll never forget the day we purchased this. The day I held the title in my hand. The day we drove it away from a beautiful little farmhouse in Algoma. It will be a day that goes down in history always starting with, "remember the day we got this...?". And it will be one of those purchases that we will never regret.

So as you can see, it is in need of a ton of love. Luckily, we have a lot of love to give and a gorgeous summer ahead of us! It needs a few new things, some polishing, a new floor. We've been having drinks it in every night. Watching the sun set from the windows. Staying in it's aluminum walls until late in the evening. brainstorming on how we will fix it up. dreaming of all the traveling and camping we will do together with it. All of America that we still have yet to explore with it.

I'm excited to be part of the small circle of people who own and treasure these. Excited to post photos here as we fix her up.  And even more excited to officially be a functional nomad together with my love- falling more in love with this life of traveling that we lead.

Speaking of "it", we definitely need a name for her. Any ideas? I'd love to hear them.
leave them below :)

Stay wild my loves,
