Clinic daze

By far my favorite moments during my time here in Malawi have been my mornings spent at the malnutrition clinics. I've been peed on by babies, proposed to by village Health Surveillance Assistants, and have gotten to work with some of the most incredible people. I'm feeling incredibly blessed to have spent two months of my life here participating in this research. Being away from the love of my life has been the biggest sacrifice I've had to make while living here in Malawi, but I'm officially counting merely hours until I'm back in his arms. Saying goodbye to all the staff today was bittersweet. One of the nurses sang "Leavin' on a Jet Plane" to me today before we embraced goodbye, which brought tears to my eyes. I'm leaving here with so much peace in my heart. I've officially fallen in love with the Warm Heart of Africa.
