Sunrises, sea glass, and saltwater

Have I ever mentioned how much I love the ocean? Maybe not :)

We stopped through Florida on the way home and spent 5 glorious days on the ocean that I grew up on, right near my mother who now doubles as my best friend. lucky me. Having been away from my home (the East Coast of Florida) for 8 months now, I had my travel photography eyes on while I was there. I literally soaked up every warm rainy day, watched the sunrise every morning, and could not get enough photos of those sun bleached colors everywhere! I took these photos while wandering down A1A one sunny morning. in my old hood. These images are also linked back to my photography website under the category travel. I'm so excited (and nervous) to start my journey as an artist. Watch for a flood of art and photography on the blog this summer as I flesh out how I'm going to work it all out. Should be fun. I've attempted to avoid becoming a starving artist at all cost for the last 10 years. However, it's inevitable, it's happening. Not only am I learning to love it, I feel incredibly fulfilled in taking a risk and following my heart on this.
