Wilson's Promontory, Australia

We took a road trip this weekend to Wilson's Promontory which is on the Southern Coast of Australia just a few hours from our house. It was a gorgeous day for a road trip and to explore the coast. I spent the day in cutoff jeans and a baseball T with my head hanging out the window watching beautiful Victoria pass by. We spent the warm afternoon setting up our tent at a "bush camping" site next to the ocean. I promptly put on my down jacket that night though, and kept it on for our rainy cold hike the next day. Victoria weather did not disappoint and stayed unpredictable as ever the entire weekend. We saw our fill of marsupials and sheep and birds that weekend, and returned refreshed from our weekend of sleeping in the great outdoors. Getting ready to leave this place we've called home for the last 6 months, I couldn't help but feel a little sentimental this weekend. A little piece of my heart will always be in Australia.
