I left my job a few weeks ago in September to move from Vero Beach, FL with my husband to Wisconsin. I am originally from Florida so this move is pretty big for me to say the least. A significant amount of my friends and family live in Florida. Florida has been my home base and life for the last 29 years, including the last 5 years for my husband and I.
We just completed our trek north from Vero Beach, Florida through Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan. It was a really fun trip. If you have never taken a road trip with your lover across country, I recommend adding it to your bucket list. We flew into Florida a few days ago and we are now starting north on our second road trip to finish our move north. I hope you enjoy these pictures from our first road trip.

The last morning we spent in the house, Domeabra knew we were leaving Vero Beach. |

We woke up to watch the sunrise for the last time as residents of our sleepy beach town.

This is my husband, our fearless leader, driver, and my lover. I adore him. I love him more that I can express. |

Had an amazing stop over in Asheville, North Carolina for the weekend. Saw my best friend. |

Beautiful Asheville, North Carolina.

This is a candid of Domey and I the morning after we rested for the night in Indiana. |

Every time either of us got out of the car, Domey was on high alert watching our every move until we came back to the car. |

This was how our moving truck looked when we finally landed in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It was jam packed, top to bottom. Packing and unpacking this truck has been intense. |

Great night out in the Upper Peninsula (UP) of Michigan. The trees were an incredible yellow that night, downtown was so bright! |
